What will girls gain at the Jamaco camps?

Girls will increase their love of and skill in basketball. Plain and simple. They’ll do this by learning more about the game, practicing skills and fundamentals, all while putting their newfound knowledge to work in games. Girls learn in an intense but fun environment, and improve their sportsmanship, teamwork, and physical shape. We teach them to want success, and to work towards it. And we show them just how much hoop rocks.

When does camp start?

Camp registration will run from 8AM-9AM on the first day of camp.  Our program will start at 9:30AM in the gym. Please be dressed and ready to play. On each subsequent day of the camp, players should arrive at 8:45AM or earlier if an athletic trainer is needed. Late arriving campers should report to the gym.

What time does camp end?

Fundamental camp runs until 5:30pm and Mini Jam runs until 12pm or 5pm depending on the session.

Where are the camp locations?
What should players bring?

Bring a refillable water bottle for hydration throughout each day of camp. Every camper will be given a camp t-shirt to wear each day and will receive her own women’s regulation Nike basketball.

What should players NOT bring?

No cell phones are allowed at camp. They are a distraction in the gym during games and lectures. Camp phones are available to all campers, if necessary, in the gym.

What about injuries or health needs?

We have professional Athletic Trainers on staff during the entire week. All medical needs, such as injury treatment, knee and ankle wrapping, will be addressed daily. Those campers on medication should register their condition and medication with the trainers on the first day of camp.

How do refunds and/or cancellations work?

A $50 administrative charge will be made for any cancellations prior to May 2nd. After that, tuition refunds, minus the $50 administrative charge, will be made for medical purposes only, accompanied by a physician's letter of explanation. No refunds will be issued once camp has begun.
