Jamaco Camps - Embracing the love of the game

This summer we are offering two different camps:
Fundamental Camp and Mini Jam Camp.

Mini Jam Camp is designed for girls ages 6-9 who need introductory basketball skills. Like the fundamental camp they will learn and practice the core skill development techniques and take those drills into game play. Mini Jam runs for 3 days and has two sessions to choose from: 9am to 12pm and 2pm-5pm. Campers may choose to sign up for both sessions and spend the whole day at camp, with Jamaco providing lunch between sessions.

The Fundamental Camp runs for five days, beginning everyday at 9am and running until 5:30pm. Girls ages 10-17 from all skill levels will challenge themselves and get better. At all Jamaco Camps, girls learn to play better and play smarter, and learn to love their game even more.

Using Doug Bruno teaching techniques, girls of all skill levels will gain better knowledge and understanding of the game. They’ll also get moving, working immediately and intensely on technique and game playing.

At Jamaco camps, girls elevate their game in fun and challenging ways. We work on skill development, including:

• Ball Handling
• Shooting
• Passing
• Defense
• Moves with and without the ball
• Speed dribbling
• Fundamentals

Everyday, girls also play 5 on 5 and 3 on 3 games, putting their instruction in practice.

Girls at Jamaco camps increase their physical shape, their ability, and their techniques. They learn the methods and means of effective self-discipline, and ways they can continue to get better outside of camp. They get hooked on the game, and they get hooked on success.

All camp attendees receive the best instruction and the best tools, including their own individual Nike basketball, one camp t-shirt, a personal evaluation, and a certification of camp completion.
